Artist Spotlight
Fortress is a Southern Gospel Trio who is committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in song. Their ministry is
based in Clayton NC and was established in 2002. Since their start God has opened many doors. Fortress has completed 5
recording projects. Fortress was also blessed to be awarded as the Grand Champions of 2007 N.C. State Singing
Convention. God has allowed them to serve in many Churches and venues through out the Southeast. Fortress is very
thankful for what God has done and are looking forward to what He has in store in the future for this wonderful ministry.
Tim Davis comes to the group from Clayton NC and he sings the Lead. His greatest desire is to share the love of Jesus
and tell others how they can know Him as Lord and Savior. He is married to his wonderful wife, Andrea who is his greatest
support. Tim and Andrea attend church at Way Of Life Baptist Church in Clayton NC. He has wonderful parents who he
loves dearly. They are Mr. Milton Davis and Mrs. Barbara Davis from Fayetteville NC. He also has a talented brother named
Sonny who encouraged him to sing and play several musical instruments as he was growing up. Pray for Tim and Fortress as
they travel and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Jeff Moore is one of the finest tenor singers in gospel music today. Not only can he hit the "High Notes" with ease, but he
has a style of his own that will certainly bless hearts. Jeff, his wife Amy, and their two sons, Matthew and Jacob live in
Benson, NC. Jeff and his family attend Beulah Baptist Church in Benson NC. Fortress is so blessed to have Jeff as part of our
ministry team. We know he will touch your heart with his testimony, song, and outgoing personality that reflects the love of
Christ.
Michael Brooks sings the Baritone part for the group and does a wonderful job. He is sure to bless your heart with his
gentle spirit and beautifully rich and full voice. Although he sometimes appears to be soft spoken, He is not shy when it comes
to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has been great asset to our ministry. He also requires a lot of hugs. Michael and his
wife Lucinda live in Zebulon and they have a precious little daughter named Ansleigh. They are members of Beacon Baptist
Church in Raleigh N.C.
