Ever since she can remember, Sharen was fascinated with music. Her father was a Baptist deacon and her mother was the
choir director. She began playing the drums for the choir at the age of 11, starting with just the snare and slowly moving her
way to a full set. It was tough being a drummer in an independent Baptist church, much less being a female drummer.

Both of Sharen’s sisters began taking piano lessons, unaware that little sister was watching, listening, learning and
experimenting with the piano.

Sharen begin listening to records and tapes of various artists and learned different styles of music. Still playing drums, she
had an overwhelming desire to further her knowledge of the piano, so her and her youngest sister, Trina, formed a gospel
group called The Heavenly Voices. Trina sang and Sharen tickled the ivories. Sharen began writing Gospel music and had
one of her songs "Tear-stained Altar" recorded by Cedar Ridge.

Heavenly Voices sang for a year then disbanded. Then Sharen was invited to play drums for a group called Heart Song.
They went to Nashville and recorded at Hilltop Studios. Sharen wrote 3 songs on that album. With Sharen on drums, Tammy
Wynette's steel player on the steel and Janie Frickie’s guitar player on lead, Sharen was in tall cotton. She thought, " Hmm, I
could get used to this".

As time passed, Sharen went on to play piano for a group called The Creations. They traveled quite a bit which gave Sharen
the opportunity to learn more about the music business. The Creations recorded 7 of Sharen songs. To her disappointment
the group disbanded 2 and a half years later. With the desire to play, Sharen never gave up. She knew the vision and dream
she had for her life, she wanted to be a full time musician. So, she continued to attend Gospel concerts and perusing the
Singing News Magazine for opportunities.

One day an advertisement in the Singing News caught her attention. A group was looking for a piano player. Sharen sent her
demo. A few days went by and the long awaited call came, it was Ron Martin of The Rowland’s. He said, "I got your demo
and I loved the "chicken-pickin" you’re doing on there. Can you meet with us Friday? We will be in Georgia for a concert".
Sharen said, “okay, I would love to”. So Ron sent 6 cassettes of their music for Sharen to listen to before the concert that
Friday.

During that Friday night concert Ron said, "we have a new piano player and we would like to introduce her to you. Sharen,
could you come up and play a couple of songs with us"? Not at all nervous, Sharen went to the piano, kicked off the song
requested, and at that moment she knew beyond a shadow of doubt that her prayer had been answered. The following week
she found herself playing a full concert in front of 2000 people.

Through her tenure with the Rowland’s Sharen recorded and arranged four projects with them and played 230 dates per year
for four years. Also, Sharen produced song demos for Kyla Rowland, one of today’s prominent Gospel songwriters. That
was the beginning of Rose Of Sharen Productions. Sharen arranged “There Rose A Lamb”, which went on to win a Dove
award for Kyla and the Gold City Qt. Sharen produced approximately 200 song demos for Kyla.

With time came changes for the Rowland’s and, once again, the moment came for Sharen to move on. Disappointed, but not
discouraged, Sharen relocated back to Georgia.

Artists that heard the demos Sharen produced for Kyla began requesting Sharen to produce soundtracks for them. Word of
mouth spread quickly and soon Sharen was producing music for artists and writers everywhere. She now has clients from
Oregon to Maryland, and Michigan to Florida and even over seas in New Zealand.

As her new venture grew, Sharen realized she needed to include additional instruments to her tracks besides keyboard,
piano, bass and drums. So she learned to play the guitar, the mandolin and the harmonica. Sharen admits the piano is her
forte' but if it had not been for playing drums she would have never learned tempo, rhythm and most importantly perseverance.

Sharen began producing tracks full-time January 1st 2002. Since then She has met a lot of wonderful people that are helping
her business to grow bigger than she ever thought possible.

When told that her production fee is too cheap, therefore no one would take her serious, Sharen replied, “If it had not been for
God and Godly people helping me, I would have never had my dreams fulfilled. Now I help fulfill the dreams of others”.

With over 21 years of studio experience and thousands of music tracks to her credit, Sharen Alexander is ready to serve
your recording & music track needs.
